Heavy Duty Powered Single Traveling Uncoiler / Fixed Coil Car Combination

The Colt Heavy Duty Traveling Uncoiler/Fixed Coil Car Combination unit allows the uncoiler to locate each coil against the back plate when retrieving it from the coil car and centralize the coil for uncoiling using a calibrated scale at the base of the machine for positioning.

The coil car has adjustable side guides to retain narrow coils in position and hydraulically operated height adjustment to compensate for varying coil diameters. Lateral travel is hydraulically operated from a self contained power pack mounted within the uncoiler frame.

Hold down rolls for top or bottom payoff are available as required. Also, automatic loop control assures that material is fed from the coil at precisely the speed required to maintain a regular flow.
