| Colt Medium Duty Reel Uncoilers are designed to handle coils to a maximum weight of 6000 Ibs., a diameter of 60" (optional 72" O.D.) and a width of 36". Rugged construction and use of a variable speed D.C. drive ensure long equipment life. The controlled acceleration and deceleration removes all shock and impact in the drive train normally associated with intermittent motion. Automatic loop control assures that material is fed from the coil at precisely the speed required to maintain a regular flow thru the entire line. Forward/reverse and jog controls permit accurate in-feed and rewind operations. |
