Colt Medium-Duty Reel Uncoilers are designed to handle coils to a maximum weight of 6,000 Ibs, a diameter of 60″ (optional 72″ O.D.) and a width of 36″). Rugged construction, non-powered with Air Brakes or powered with a variable speed D.C. drive ensure long equipment life. Controlled acceleration and deceleration removes all shock and impact in the drive train normally associated with intermittent motion. Automatic loop control assures that material is fed from the coil at precisely the speed required to maintain a regular flow through the entire line.
